About Me

  • Ashley Tapia, LCSW

Bienvenidos! My name is Ashley Tapia, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping children and families navigate life's challenges. I am a first generation Mexican American and am bilingual in English and Spanish.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where I developed a strong foundation in clinical social work practice. With over four years of clinical experience, I have worked extensively with children and families in various settings, including child welfare agencies. Throughout my career, I have specialized in navigating trauma in children, understanding family systems dynamics, addressing behavioral difficulties, and providing support for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, crisis situations, depression, and anxiety.

I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on building resilience and promoting positive change.

In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of social work. I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and well-being.

¡Gracias por visitar mi página! Espero tener la oportunidad de trabajar juntos y ayudarlo a alcanzar sus metas de bienestar emocional y personal.
