Immigration Evaluations

Overview

Tapia Blooming Therapy provide thorough psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including I-601 and I-601A Hardship Waivers, Asylum, U-Visa, T-Visa, and VAWA in San Diego, Chula Vista and all of California. When you choose to complete an immigration evaluation with me, you can expect a comprehensive and compassionate process.

I create a safe and confidential environment to discuss your immigration history, experiences, and reasons for seeking evaluation. The evaluation typically involves one to two in-depth, structured interviews and assessments designed to gather relevant information about your mental health, emotional well-being, and any trauma or hardships you may have experienced.

I will work closely with your attorney to ensure my evaluation accurately documents the impact of your immigration situation on your mental health. Based on your needs, I provide recommendations and offer ongoing support through referrals to other services or resources as needed. My focus is on ensuring you receive comprehensive care throughout your immigration journey. Trust that I am here to support you every step of the way, providing the understanding and care you deserve. Reach out today to schedule your evaluation and take the next step in your immigration process with confidence.

Process and Completion

We begin by connecting directly with you or your attorney to discuss the evaluation process, costs, address any concerns, and answer all your questions. The evaluation itself takes place over one to two interview sessions, conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

You can trust that throughout this process, we will be available to you anytime via phone, email, text messages, or the chat feature on our telehealth platform. We prioritize clear and consistent communication to support you fully.

During the evaluation, you’ll have the chance to share your story and experiences, including your family history, upbringing, current family and support system, relevant mental health history, and details about your immigration case. This is your time to speak openly in a safe and supportive environment.

Once the evaluation is complete, our goal is to deliver the written report to you and your attorney within 1-2 weeks after the interview. We will provide a copy of the report to both you and your attorney. By working closely with your attorney, we ensure the evaluation accurately reflects how your immigration situation affects your mental health.

I encourage you to take this important step and reach out to schedule your evaluation now. Trust that we are here to support you every step of the way, providing the understanding and care you deserve.
